Paying for Lumper Fees with the Relay App

As a mobile app user, you are able to authorize and generate your own RelayCodes to pay for warehouse unloading fees.

As a mobile app user, you can use a RelayCode to pay at 90% of all lumper warehouse facilities.

NOTE: Before you can authorize a payment, you must have a credit or debit card added to your mobile app. For help with adding a funding method to your app, click here.

How to Authorize and Use a RelayCode for Lumper Fees

  1. Open the Relay Mobile App and Sign In - if you do not have the mobile app, click here to download the app.

  2. From the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, select Codes. On this page, you can authorize RelayCodes to use at Fuel Stops, Lumper fees at warehouses, or Repair & Tow locations that accept Relay.

  3. Under Warehouse Code, click Authorize Payment. On this page, you can authorize your fuel code for any amount between $50 - $1,200. You cannot generate a warehouse code for less than $50. Once you have chosen the amount, click Pre-Authorize.

    ​Note that Relay will only Authorize your credit/debit card for this amount. If your lumper fees are less than the authorized amount, the difference will be credited back to you in 1-3 business days.

  4. Once you've clicked Pre-Authorize, you can view your six-character RelayCode and use it to pay for warehouse lumper fees for up to the authorized amount.
