Quick Start Guide for Small Fleets

This guide will help fleet owners and administrators with 1-10 trucks get set up quickly so your drivers can begin fueling right away.

Your Relay Account Overview

Your Relay account is made up of two key components:


Accessing Your Relay Portal

Look for your Relay invitation email to set your password and log in.
If you need a new invite, click Resend Invite from the email link.

You can also access the portal through the mobile app:

  1. Open the app

  2. Tap the hamburger menu (☰)

  3. Select Go to Admin Portal


Finding Your Driver PIN

From the Mobile App

  1. Open the menu (top right)

  2. Tap Go to Admin Portal

  3. Open the menu (bottom left) → select Drivers

  4. Tap your name

  5. Scroll down to view your Driver PIN

From a Computer

  1. Log into the Relay Web Portal

  2. Go to the Drivers tab

  3. Click your name and scroll to Driver PIN


Adding Drivers to Your Account

From the Mobile App

  1. Tap the ☰ menu (bottom left)

  2. Select Drivers

  3. Tap New Driver

  4. Complete prompts to assign a policy

  5. Keep “Text invite to driver” checked to send app download instructions

  6. Tap Save

From a Computer

  1. Go to Drivers

  2. Click New Driver

  3. Assign the driver to a policy

  4. Keep “Text invite to driver on save” checked

  5. Tap Save


Reviewing & Editing Driver Policies

From the Mobile App

  1. Tap the ☰ menu

  2. Select Drivers → Policies

  3. Tap the three dots next to Default Fuel Policy

  4. Select Edit

  5. Update limits, fuel types, and rules

  6. Tap Save

From a Computer

  1. Go to Drivers

  2. Select the Policies tab

  3. Click the three dots next to the policy

  4. Select Edit

  5. Make your updates and click Save


Funding Your Account

You may need to deposit funds for expenses not covered by direct bill agreements (such as out-of-network fuel, lumpers, scales, etc.).

To Add Funds

  1. Go to the Transactions tab

  2. Click Add Funds

  3. Choose to add a bank account (no fees) or credit card (3.25% fee)

  4. Follow the prompts to deposit funds

If you have a Direct Bill Agreement, your Relay Representative will notify you when discount and billing activation is complete.
