How to pay for CAT Scales using Relay

There are two ways you can pay for CAT Scales with Relay!

  1. Use the Weigh My Truck app (preferred)

  2. Pay in-store at Pilot using RelayCodes

Preferred way to pay:

Pay for Scales with CAT Scales’ Weigh My Truck App

The steps to set up Relay in the Weigh My Truck app will take you approximately 2 minutes. Please watch the video here or see the instructions below.

The benefits to using the CAT Scales’ Weigh My Truck App include:

  • No need to get out of your cab during or after you weigh

  • Pay instantly via App (you only have to link Relay as the payment method 1 time)

  • Receive Scale ticket to your email

1. You will receive a text message from your Carrier

Once your company admin has added Scales to your policy and sent you an invite for Weigh My Truck, you will receive a text message containing your Weigh My Truck Driver ID.

2. Download the Weigh My Truck App or Login

If you do not have the Weigh My Truck app already, you will need to go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download it. You will be prompted to create a new login.

If you already have the Weigh My Truck app, you will need to login using your email and password.

3. Change Payment Method to Relay

Once in the Weigh My Truck App, you will need to add Relay as your payment method:

  1. Select “Account”

  2. Click on “Payment Method”

  3. Scroll down and select “Relay”

  4. Enter your 6-digit Relay Weigh My Truck ID, which can be found in the text message you received

4. Start using Weigh My Truck to pay for Scales!

After you update your payment method to Relay, you can use the Weigh My Truck app at any of the CAT Scales’ US locations to weigh your truck from the comfort of your cab! There is no need to go inside to Pay or get your scale ticket - you can get your Scale ticket automatically emailed to you!

Secondary way to pay:

Pay for Scales In Store at Pilot

Drivers who only weigh at CAT Scales’ Pilot Locations can pay in-store at Pilot using a RelayCode.

1. Unlock your RelayCode

After your truck is weighed, you will need to go inside to Pay the Pilot Cashier using a RelayCode.

  1. Open the Relay App

  2. Click on “Codes” at the bottom of the Relay App

  3. Click on "Authorize payment" under “Fuel Stop Code”

  4. Select your location

  5. Click on “Scales” and then follow the instructions in your app

2. Tell the Pilot Cashier you are paying with a RelayCode

If the cashier is not sure how to process a RelayCode, read them the instructions that are listed in the Relay App.
