I’m getting an ELD Error

Updated over 2 months ago

Fuel Tank % Threshold Error

This error means your fuel tank level is higher than your company’s fueling threshold. When this happens, you won’t be able to purchase additional fuel.

If you believe your tank level is actually below the threshold set by your company, try the following:

  • Make sure you’re logged into the correct truck in your ELD app.

  • If the issue continues, contact your company’s Relay admin for assistance.

If you need to fuel immediately, ask your company admin to issue you a one-time fuel code.

Can't get the ELD location of the truck

This error means the ELD system could not confirm your truck’s location. This usually happens when the driver is not logged into the ELD app, or when there’s no active driver/vehicle assignment.

What to do:

  • Make sure you are logged into your ELD app and properly assigned to a vehicle.

  • Check that your ELD device has stable internet connection.

  • If the issue continues, contact your company's Relay admin for assistance.

If you need to fuel immediately, ask your company admin to issue you a one-time fuel code.

The driver's truck is not within the location bounds (keep)

This error means the ELD location does not match the location where you are trying to fuel. Your truck must be within 0.5 miles of the stop.

This can happen if you’re logged into the wrong truck in your ELD app.

What to do:

  • Move closer to the fuel stop so your ELD is within the allowed range

  • Confirm that you are logged into the correct truck in your ELD app.

  • If the issue continues, contact your company's Relay admin for assistance.

If you need to fuel immediately, ask your company admin to issue you a one-time fuel code.
